Pottery Club

In this Pottery Club, I will share one of the oldest known clay techniques; the pinch method. By shaping clay with our bare hands, we’ll explore the balance between control and spontaneity, connecting with earth’s natural material.

This beginner-friendly (18+) class focuses on sculpting free-form objects and embracing imperfections.

Whether you create a cup, bowl, trinket dish, boob mug, or something entirely unique, what matters most is allowing yourself to bring your imagination to life—even if it doesn’t go as planned.

This session lasts approximately 3 hours and includes all materials and tools. All you have to do is set up the table and chairs. Cost is $95pp. Your final fired piece will be ready for pickup in 4-6 weeks. We can arrange pick up or shipping (at an additional cost.)

This private club means I can come to your place in Tasman and Marlborough for private pottery events—let’s hold space to rekindle your home’s core memories.
